Saturday, March 9, was the celebration of a spectacular spring holiday at the Birmingham Museum of Art–Holi:  The Celebration of Color!  The event included traditional Indian music and dance performances by local youth and professional Indian groups.  The festival also included traditional Indian food provided by Taj India, henna tattoos, art activities, story telling, and colors!

Professional dance and music performances were by the Auburn Indian Music Ensemble, Notinee Indian Dance Group, Sudha Raghuram, Aastha Gandhakwala, Natyananda Dance School and Company, and Nada Sane Dance Group: Fusion Faction.
