VIP Scrapbook: Visiting the HOMEtown

image

Hello, fabulouses, and welcome back to the blog!

For the past week, I have been visiting friends and family in my hometown of Louisville, Mississippi where I got a mani/pedi with a fabulous friend, finished filming the indie film, visited some old cheer buddies at their senior prom, chopped four inches off my hair, visited my great aunts, learned more about my family history, and last but not least…attended the grand opening of the new Dollar Tree–this is big news for Louisville *wink*

Now, I know I have been slacking on the social media lately…Please forgive me, VIP fans. I am so spoiled to high-speed Internet and 4G (even 3G) cell signal that adjusting to limited service has been very…frustrating. I will spare y’all the dramatic story of my breakdown prior to posting this blog via my Samsung Galaxy Note3. Long story short, the HughesNet Internet and I had a fight and…the HughesNet Internet won *wink*

To make up for my social media slacking, I decided that today I would post a VIP Scrapbook of all the fun and fabulous things I have been doing lately in and around my hometown. Now, without further ado, I present to you the VIP Scrapbook: Visiting the HOMEtown. Yay!

My friend Erin Clark and I getting our toesys done at the V.I.P. Nails salon in Louisville. I thought it was a fitting place for the VIP to get her nails done *wink*

My sad face selfie on the last day of filming La Madame…Now, I cannot wait for the movie premiere! Ahh!

Rachel Edmonds of Mia Salon in Starkville, Mississippi cut four inches off the VIP’s hair. I have been growing it out for the movie since November…and it feels fabulous to have the Cob (curly bob) back *wink* Thanks so much, Rachel!

It was so fun “crashing” prom to see two of my old cheerleader buddies! The two gingers and a blonde reunite after three years *wink*

It was so awesome looking through old family photos with my great Aunt Judy. Hearing her stories of the past is so amazing and inspires me to learn more about my family. Right now, my big goal is to learn more about the history of my middle name, Rianza. Stay tuned for a future blog…once I get more information:)

Easter arts and crafts–my favorite! I bought one of the items shown in this photo…can you guess which one???

As soon as I saw this jumbo chalk…I went from 18 to 5 in a matter of seconds *wink* I call this my “Oh my gosh, Mom, it’s jumbo chalk! Can I please have some” face.

I am a huge fan of the clear glass coffee mugs in this photo. I think I will be making a trip back to the Louisville Dollar Tree before I leave to pick up some cute coffee cups for my new apartment…oh, and I will also be getting some jumbo chalk *wink*

I got these FAB-U-LOUS cups for my apartment TODAY.  They were so cute…I could not pass them up!

Last but not least…I picked up one of these snazzy snack packs for my travels. You are never too old to snack happy and adorable *wink*

Now, I am off to watch The Blacklist on NBC.  I may not have great Internet connection, but thank goodness I have satellite TV *wink*
