VIP Home: Making Progress and Living in Chaos

Hello, fabulouses, and welcome back to the blog!

Guess what?! I am typing this blog from my new office space–which is a typical closet that I converted into a bright and cheery work space. This project was quite easy–all it took was a little money and design planning.

With the help of my dad, I just finished installing the basic counter top (turned desk top) from Home Depot about an hour ago. Oh…I am so happy to finally have a little blogging space in my apartment. Ah…apartment sweet apartment *wink*

The office is fully functioning–minus a desk chair (I have my eye on a fabulous one at Stein Mart); however, I have yet to adorn the space with cute decor. Note to self: Style office space and share with VIP readers *wink*

The dad and I installing the wire shelving in the blogging space. (Please excuse the fact I am wearing clothes that are wayyy to big for me...I look a bit frumpy...well, more like a lot frumpy. *cringe*)

After battling the rain and the cold…I finally had a pretty day to finish the front door. Yay! I am absolutely in love with the finished product of this paint project! The Peacock Feather by Behr (Home Depot’s paint department is fabulous!) really adds a pop of needed personality to the neutral space.

My next outside paint project is deciding what color to paint the porch floor. Decisions...decisions...decisions...
Now, I have to decide what color to paint the porch floor. Decisions…decisions…decisions…Stay tuned to the VIP social media and VIP Home to find out what color I picked.

Although I am making progress, I am still living in chaos, which can be bit frustrating at times.

I am really not giving the chaos enough credit because it is teaching me how to be more responsible with managing a budget…how to work under pressure (which I am not very good at doing *wink*)…and how to make my own “big girl” decisions. Phew…I am all about learning new life lessons, but I am extremely ready to tidy things up and keep them that way :)
