Adventuring in Kingsport and Jonesborough

Hello, fabulouses, and welcome back to the blog!

Today, the parents and I went adventuring in Kingsport and Jonesborough, Tennessee and concluded the evening with gluten-free pizza on their 1920 wrap-around porch + The Doors via Dad’s Sonos. Needless to say, it has been a delightful day.

On our adventure, we visited a number of antique stores where I did not find anything particular that struck my fancy; however, my mom lucked up at a Jonesborough antique mart where she found some killer stained glass windows, which were from an old building in Kingsport. Oh, I cannot wait to see what she does with them–she hinted at a few ideas, but said that I would have to stay tuned to her blog–which she is currently revamping–to find out. *wink* I guess I set myself up for that…considering I use that line at least once a week *wink*

Well…readers, I must be going–my new curtains aren’t going to hang themselves! Please enjoy some random photos from today’s journey and stay tuned to VIP Home on Monday for a sneak peek of my marvelous curtains! Tah tah for now! Enjoy the rest of the weekend :)

We stopped to eat lunch at The General Store in Jonesborough, and it was absolutely AMAZING! Next time, I am saving room for hand-dipped ice cream *wink*

My mom and I being our typical selves--she is throwing a peace sign, and I am...well...being silly as per usual.
