Hello, fabulouses, and welcome back to the blog!

I am going to keep this week’s Beauty Tues makeup look short, sweet, and to-the-point because I have lots to do and to prepare before the Fourth of July activities commence! *wink*

My big inspiration for this week’s eye makeup is the warm and sultry hues featured on the cover of  Porter Magazine (Summer 2014 Edition) + while flipping through this marvelous read, I was inspired to sport some leopard. Be sure to check out my Real Media column tomorrow for more photos + tips on styling leopard this summer. Y’all will not want to miss what King Tut’s tomb, Bettie Page, and 1990’s Trapper Keepers have in common! 

Now, let’s get to the makeup  details!

What I used:

To create a subtly warm summer eye, I first applied Benefit’s “Birthday Suit” eye creme with the Laura Mercier smudge/crease brush. (Applying it with a brush helps the creme to be evenly distributed.) Next, I lined and added a slight wing to the top eyelids with Lancome’s Le Crayon Khol in “Black Ebony”. Last, but definitely not least, I pumped up my lashes with Tarte’s Lights, Camera, Lashes (4-in-1 mascara).
