J.Crew Challenge: Outfit 11, Attention to Detail

IMG_6272

Hello, fabulouses, and welcome back to the J.Crew Challenge!

Today’s fabulous, J.Crew outfit is all about the attention to detail. I took a little inspiration from Arlene Goldstein’s speech at the Fall Fashion Preview at Belk the Summit (Birmingham, Alabama) to create this simple yet complex ensemble. “Creating a look that fits ‘Complex Simplicity’ is effortless yet chic. Over-sized and boxy silouettes, innovative textiles, and exaggerated sleeves make all the difference. Playing with textures and patterns is key,” stated Goldstein.

For this J.Crew #OOTD, I took the skirt from Outfit 1 and combined it with a structured sweater-tee, frilly socks, and funky heels for a trendy look that is perfect for downtown outings. Now, let’s take a look at the details to find out what special person MADE me these FABULOUS socks *wink*

  1. First of all I want to say, nice outfit! Frilly socks always make the outfit look better especially when they match your shoes. I would love to go walking downtown with you in this outfit or any other as long as you wear frilly socks with it. Nice job!
