Wow! Long time no see, readers!

I have been away this week visiting family and doing a photo shoot for the indie film poster in the ever-lovely Hospitality State. The trip was wonderful and full of lots of laughs and memories :) Ah…thank you, Mississippi, for always showing this girl a happy time!

Although visiting the home-state was fabulous, the downside is having virtually no cell service or reliable WiFi *sad face* Sure, it is ah-mazing to detach from the crazy hoopla of the internet and social media, but I am a blogger…so, I obviously love having cell reception and/or high-speed internet so I can write posts to share with y’all *wink*

BUT GOOD NEWS IS…I am back in Tennessee with 4G cell service and Charter internet *wink* Blogs and social media posts will resume as normal on Monday–yay! *happy dance*

Now–that is enough about my #TechnologyFails while in Mississippi *wink* Let’s take a look at some of my trip’s highlights!Β

Driving through Aliceville, Alabama on Memorial Day was pretty wonderful! I loved seeing the flags lining the bridge there–proud to be an American *wink*

#NoMakeup selfie after finally arriving at my grandparents house in Mississippi. Eleven-ish hours of driving across 4 states...phew! Grandparent hugs, seeing the stars at night, and hearing the Whippoorwills made the boring and tiring drive worth it *wink*

Behind-the-scenes at the indie film poster shoot! Ah! I got a sneak peek at the beginning of the movie + of the poster layout, and needless to say, I CANNOT wait for y'all to see all of the awesomeness that Carlos and Roberto Rosales of CS Digital Productions have done! They ROCK! Check out the video below to see a teaser of the movie + visit their website for more info and pictures. www.csdigitalproductions.com

Throwback photo just for fun *wink* This photo was taken when I was a toddler at my Paw Riley's childhood home down the road from the house where I grew up.

Throwback photo just for fun *wink* This photo was taken when I was a toddler at my Paw Riley’s childhood home which is right down the road from the house where I grew up. I am wearing my Paw Riley’s outfit from when he was just a toddler.

Stay Fabulous,
