Hello, fabulouses, and welcome back to the blog!
It’s Wednesday, and y’all know what that means–it is WEEKLY WHISTLE TIME! *happy dance* Let’s start the post off right with some Bruce Hornsby jams *wink*
Now that we got some good 80s tunes running through our bodies, let me tell you about this week’s Weekly Whistle outfit!
Recently, I sported this awesome outfit to campus, and almost every person I saw on campus said “only YOU could pull that off, Abby!” I thought about it…and thought about it…and I have a really hard time believing that only I could pull off this outrageous outfit *wink*
Now, since the VIP is opening up this week, I thought this might be a good time to answer the fan question of “What is the story behind Weekly Whistle?” Well, Weekly Whistle has been around since (almost) the genesis of the Vintage Inspired Passionista blog *wink*, and it is simply my opportunity to share my favorite outfit of the week (#OOTW)–no matter how wild and outrageous it might be *wink* From mixing a flamingo skirt with a leopard top to sporting head-to-toe neon, Weekly Whistle is my chance to show off my wacky fashion sense. Also, the name “Weekly Whistle” was thought of while my mom and I were taking a walk to talk about blog stuff. We were spouting off random titles with alliteration, and when I shouted “Weekly Whistle” we both fell head-over-heels for it…so it sort of stuck *wink* If you revisit some of the very first Weekly Whistle posts, I used to start each article out with a song about whistling! Bet ya’ didn’t know that *wink* Click here to scroll through the Weekly Whistle archives and find your favorite one!
