Weekly Whistle: Pumpkin, Spice-Up Your Wardrobe

img_2931

Hello, fabulouses, and welcome back to the blog!

Woo hoo! We are still pumpkin spicing it up on VIP, so I bet you can guess what this week’s Weekly Whistle theme is *wink*

Rather than putting together a new outfit, I decided to hop in my time machine to view posts of the past in search of pumpkin-spice-inspired ensembles. Here are some of the favorites I found–NOTE some of the outfits date all the way back to the beginning of the blog *gasp* The baby face game was too strong then *wink*

Be sure to come by tomorrow for a fabulous Three Ways to Wear which will feature lovely pumpkin spice outfits that you can shop IMMEDIATELY from the post! :) *happy dance*

~2012~ This is from one of the first ever VIP outfit posts, and I still own all three of these outfit pieces! I love the pumpkin-spice-inspired skirt mixed with the distressed denim vest (see DIY here) and vintage REO Speedwagon tank. This is pumpkin spied without going overboard *wink*

~2012~ This flowy ensemble was from the first Halloween feature on the blog, and I love the black and orange. It is a little pumpkin spice and everything nice--or "spooky" for the spirit of the Halloween season *wink* See the original post here.

~2013~ For those of you really wanting to embrace the pumpkin-spice spirit, this outfit should be an inspiration for you *wink* I styled this outfit to "look like a pumpkin" with my green hat (or stem). See the original post here.

~2014~ This outfit is more fall in escene; however, the pops of pumpkin made it truly spicy *wink* Check out the original post here. Photos were taken in Founders Park, Johnson City, TN.
