Hello, fabulouses, and welcome back to the blog!

We have all been in one of those situations where we over-sleep at a friend’s house while studying for a big exam, or we pass-out while having a middle-of-the-week girl’s night movie binge–BUT a lot of times, we are not prepared to wake up and zoom to work or class. So, how does one avoid skipping work/class and avoid looking like you didn’t go home the day before?

Well….let me give you an example!

*In echoing announcer voice* LADIES, The VIP presents to you an outfit inspiration that is perfect for the busy gal whose days go from night-to-day more often than day-to-night *wink*

*cringe* Oops...I guess I'm late again *wink*

*cringe* Oops…I guess I’m late again *wink*

On average, I stay up way, way, WAY too late. Now, it is not like I am just wasting the hours away playing Xbox; however, that is sometimes the case *wink* I am usually awake into the wee hours of the night working on school work, blog stuff, newspaper columns, and a variety of other spastic ideas I might get–after taking my shower at midnight. *wink* So, from my crazy schedule, I developed a “system” to make my wardrobe work more efficiently–essentially to eliminate one stress from my daily list.

For this week’s Weekly Whistle, I want to show y’all one outfit I was able to take from night out with friends (because a small social life is important *wink*) to a rainy day of classes.

Now, take a look at the outfits, take a look at your closet, and then ask yourself, if you own items that can be easily mixed up, tied up, or tucked in to change the entire look of an ensemble. Despite what the old ways of fashion might entail, it is okay to wear the same thing twice–especially if wearing something twice helps relieve some of your stresses *wink*

Quick Tip:

To adapt your wardrobe to the VIP “system,” construct your night-out outfits with comfy elements like snazzy sneakers and light outerwear (patterned hoodies, button ups, etc). Also, if there is a doubt you won’t return home before work/school the next day, throw an extra pair of shoes in your car OR crash at a friend’s place who has the same shoe size as you *wink*
