Let’s take a little trip back in time, shall we? 

Hop in the VIP time machine as we zoom, zoom, ZOOM back in time to the genesis of the blog–2012. While we wait to arrive, let’s listen to some funky tunes *wink* 

*screeching halt* Well, it looks like we’re here! Vintage Inspired Passionista blog, August 2012. 

I had only been blogging for about six months when I featured my first blue blazer on VIP. I got it at Urban Outfitters  in Birmingham, AL because I thought it was so “Miami Vice” *wink* I’m not kidding–Sonny Crocket is why I bought a blazer…and that was the beginning of a vicious cycle *wink*

About a year later, I purchased another blue blazer, except this one was cobalt and black–totally rocker chic. I sported it on multiple blogs, to Birmingham Fashion Week events, and when I interviewed denim designers  Chip & Pepper (they were such a hoot :)). I’ve even worn it on the air for a few of my broadcasting classes. It’s a classic <3

Now, 4 years later, I am hoping back into my blue blazer addiction with a new edition to the VIP blue blazer family. It’s Calvin Klein. Calvin Klein–I feel like such a little professional news woman *wink* 

 Be sure to come back tomorrow for some more blue blazer chat! Because we aren’t done here, but the VIP needs to get some rest for finals week *wink*
