Hello, fabulouses, and welcome back to the blog!

Woo hoo! It is ALMOST Friday–thank goodness *wink* I am so ready for the weekend because I am in dire need of a vintage movie binge + sleeping in!

This week for Thursday, I am throwing it back to the three best outfits of summer to keep our spirits filled with the essence of summer ♥

Throwback 1:

This vintage kimono screams SUMMER with its bright colors and Hawaiian pattern. It is such a fun statement that always turns heads, so I, of course, had to include it in one of the best VIP summer ensembles *wink*

This Time Last Year (& the Year Before That)

IMG_0453

Hello, fabulouses, and welcome back to the blog!

Today is a bittersweet day because I just successfully completed my first year of college. It has been two wonderful semesters full of fabulous people, sleepless nights, and a lot of late-night coffee + snack runs–but I am so thankful and giddy to have freshman year over with *wink*

I do not often get super personal on the blog–but don’t take it personal, y’all! My mom tells me all the time that I need to share more of myself with the world, but I have always been a little shy about my true self because my true self is a little bit “weird” *wink* but I feel that college is really helping me to open up more and blossom bigger and better. Gah…I wish my high school classes would have had “majors” where I got to go to class with people who were just as passionate about a subject as I was *wink*

Looking back on my freshman year, I am happy to say that I did not gain the “Freshman 15”. I honestly feared gaining those dreadful pounds because I am a “stress eater” and everyone from the neighbor to the stranger told me I would *wink* BUT I have actually lost ten pounds since the beginning of my first semester. *Fist in air* Thanks, Planet Fitness!

Note: I lost weight in my goal to eat cleaner and healthier + exercise for stress relief and training for my first 5K. I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease shortly before starting college, and I was determined to get healthier, so that I would physically feel better + feel better about myself when looking in the mirror. So far, the lifestyle changes are paying off :)

Speaking of “looking back”….let’s take a look back at what the VIP was doing this time last year…and the year before that *wink* Oh, goodness! How things change over time *wink*

IMG_6471

Hey y’all!

After I published “Broken Bicycles” yesterday, I could not help but reminisce about some of my favorite artistic photo blogs….Want to Buy 97 Farms, Dirt Road Prayer, Got A Gun, and many more! While flashing back, I also discovered that there were a few pictures that did not make it to the blog…so I am going to share those with y’all TODAY on #ThrowbackThursday! Yep, that’s right…never-before-seen photos from some of the VIP’s most famous artistic photo shoots. *wink*

Now, y’all take a look at the following photos while I load another episode of The X-Files on Netflix *wink*

Hello, fabulouses, and welcome back to the blog!

It’s Thursday…and y’all know what that means–it is time for me to throw it back to a fun and fabulous VIP blog moment! Yay!

To celebrate Liza Elliot’s newest book 30-A Super Club: The Cook Book, which was released earlier this summer, let’s take a look back at when I first met and interviewed the magnificent author! Click here to read interview.

ALSO, I just so happened to have run into Liza while shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue Birmingham a little while ago–it was such a joy!  We chatted about the cookbook + a few upcoming projects on which she is working. Sh…I promised not to tell anyone *wink*
