Be Daring. Be Fabulous. Be You.

Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the  children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the  long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or  nothing.

Be daring, be different, be impractical, be anything that will assert  integrity of purpose and imaginative vision against the play-it-safers, the  creatures of the commonplace, the slaves of the ordinary.

Weekly Whistle: Put on that Dress

Just whistle while you work.  Put on that grin and start right in.  To whistle loud and long.  Just hum a merry tune.  Do your best, then take a rest.  And sing yourself a song. *whistle, whistle whistle, whistle*

Hello, beauty queens!  So today is Wednesday…yet again…and what is so fabulous about Wednesday on the VIP blog?  Of course, Weekly Whistle!

On my latest escapade (I promise I will not start singing Janet Jackson right now, even though I want to…)…Where was I?  Oh, yes…on my latest escapade in Columbus, Mississippi, I was an usher at The Rose Tattoo, a fabulous Tennesee Williams’ play.  For the first night, I sported a ravishing, jewel-toned, 1950s dress from Twisted Moss with knee high socks and divine Jessica Simpson heels!

Dress: 1950s from Twisted Moss- www.twistedmoss.etsy.com
Belt: Target
Socks: Target
Shoes: Jessica Simpson

I would like to thank the fabulous Brenda Caradine for getting me involved with the Tennessee Williams’ Tribute! Stay tuned to my blog to discover more about the VIP’s adventure at the TWT in Columbus, Mississippi.

Never let anyone tell you who you are. Always be yourself, and live everyday like it’s Friday! We are girls…we wear make up and heels to boost our confidence, but always remember…you ARE beautiful because God made you to be.
