Beauty Tues: Must-Have Makeup Primer for January 2014

Hello, fabulouses, and welcome to this week’s Beauty Tues!

Any girl that wears makeup for more than eight hours a day knows just how important a good makeup primer is, and for the girls with sensitive skin…it is even more important to find one that is both effective and skin-friendly. 

One primer I have found that does not irritate my sensitive skin is the Guerlain Meteorites Perles Light-Diffusing Perfecting Primer. Not only does it give my skin a healthy glow, but it is also really pretty in the bottle *wink* My goodness! It’s filled with little sparkly pink beads of awesomeness!  

Personal testimony:

I have tried a lot of different makeup primers–everything from of all-natural, organic clay to water-based, but then I tried the Guerlain Perfecting Primer.  I admit that I was a bit hesitant. To be honest, I was skeptical because I have tried so many in the past. BUT then…BAM! Perfection in a bottle. This primer is perfect for everyday use because it is not thick–I feel like my skin can actually breath. I give this fabulous beauty product 5 VIP Stars!

VIP Home: Custom Marilyn Monroe Art Piece

Hello, fabulouses, and welcome to my new segment: VIP Home! Yay!

Today on VIP Home, I would like to chat about one of my favorite art pieces, which is a Marilyn Monroe print that my mom customized just for me. 

For those of you who do not know my mom, she is a retired school teacher who now spends her time creating magnificent art pieces and sculptures. Not only does she create, but she also collects. There is not a wall in our house that does not have a piece of art hanging on it. It is safe to say that we are a family of art junkies *wink*

My mom took a simple poster and breathed life into it with vintage jewelry, glitter, some paint, and magical powers–okay, so she did not use magical powers; however, she did work some magic on a plain, ordinary print *wink*
