The wind up here in the mountains is starting to get CRAZY, which means it is time to glam up my ‘do, so it handle the gusts *wink* Sure, I could wear a toboggan or beanie, BUT here’s one word to sum up why I don’t–static *wink*

Winter is a little over a month away; however, the frigid temps are coming in full blast! Next is…*drum roll* the…SNOW *gasp* I’m not ready! I’m not ready *wink*
My panic about another snowy winter aside, all of this cold weather has me in the “blue” spirit. *cue Elvis Presley*
Now, I’m not blue for the same reason as Elvis; however, the cold temps have me in the mood for Christmas tunes, extra cups of coffee, and playing with my blue-hued makeup goodies *wink* So, for this week’s VIP Beauty Tues, I decided to actually take time to do my makeup differently instead of doing my normal combo of cream eyeshadow + black eyeliner + red/pink lipstick. All of my MUA friends would be so proud *wink*
Product details will be at the end of the post :)
Shadow: Marc Jacobs Twinkle Pop Eye Stick in Shoshana (414), Sephora
This chilly weather in Northeast Tennessee has me in the fall (and almost Christmas *wink*) spirit! So, for this week’s Beauty Tues, I am going to show off my favorite lip color for fall! Alright, ladies, grab a pen and paper because you might want to take notes *wink*
Plum lips are a fall classic, and I love finding a new shade every season; however, there is one plum hue that seems to win my heart every single year–Lancome’s Hibiscus Pink. The color has a plumy-pink appearance that is perfect for fall, and it makes a great night-out essential year-round. This lip color saves me money, time and stress–it’s a win-win-win. *wink*
Now, without further ado, check out the VIP Beauty Board below + shop my favorite fall lipstick at Net-A-Porter!
Hello, fabulouses, and welcome back to Beauty Tues.
This week on VIP, we are celebrating “the basics”–from how to achieve a simple eye look in a snap to how to jazz-up jeans and a white t-shirt.
Ah–there is nothing better than an easy, daily make up routine that doesn’t fade away over the day…BUT finding the perfect look and products is tricky. So, to help you to NOT pull out your beautiful locks stressing over a basic beauty routine, I am going to share with y’all my new secret weapon*wink* It doesn’t require a brush or special primer, and you do NOT have to be a makeup maven to use it! SAY WHAT?! *wink*
I am so in love with Trish McEvoy’s 24-Hour Eye Shadow and Liner! I couldn’t believe that in less than 5 minutes, I was able to step-up my everyday eye look with ease. Rather than worrying with fancy liquid liners and metallic powders that require water and special brushes, this simple roll-up stick is an awesome fit for my busy schedule and lacking makeup application skills *wink*

VIP Beauty Tip:
When using this product (or a similar product) apply your top-lid eyeliner as normal, THEN apply the eyeshadow stick above it. Although this may sound like overkill *wink*, the black liner anchors and outlines while the metallic eye shadow stick lifts and highlights.
