It’s Wednesday, and y’all know what that means–time for the VIP’s outfit of the week! Whoo hoo!
For this week’s Weekly Whistle, I styled my favorite Cynthia Rowley sweater with a green, curvy skirt, and a b/w plaid blazer to create a professional yet fun ensemble that is perfect for a relaxed lunch meeting. I love the play on patterns, textures, and trends! Plus…It’s kind of fun to wear plaid + owls *wink*
It’s finally Thursday, which means I finally get to share this week’s three-ways-to-wear styling challenge! Whoo hoo!
I am a huge fan of light pink and pleated apparel, so when I spotted this skirt at Forever 21…it was love at first sight! Before purchasing this pink ‘n pleated skirt, I thought to myself…How many different ways can I style this? Will I get a lot of wear out of it? Well, off the top of my head, I was able to create six different looks! Ah! How fabulous?! And for this week’s Three Ways to Wear Thursday, I am going to show y’all three of those–y’all will have to come back next Thursday to see the final three *wink*
What are y’all up to tonight? The VIP is sitting at the hotel in Johnson City, Tennessee watching the new episode of Psych!
Tonight on the blog, I would like to reveal the last outfit of the 3 Ways to Wear: Cynthia Rowley Owl Sweater. Outfit #3 is also this week’s Weekly Whistle! Yay!
To change up Outfit #2, I traded the patterned cords for a vintage skirt, tossed off the yellow scarf, and hopped into a pair of darling socks and Cynthia Rowley sneakers. Tah dah! A totally hipster look that is perfect for chilling at the coffee house or shopping at the mall with the besties!
What did y’all think about Outfit #1 of the 3 Ways to Wear Cynthia Rowley Owl Sweater challenge? It was perfect for a day at the office…but how do we dress it down for running errands? Come on, I’ll show you!
To change up Outfit #1, trade the black, fitted pencil skirt for a pair of skinny-ankle patterned cords, add a vibrant yellow scarf, and hop into a pair of gold Cynthia Rowley sneakers for a cute and comfy look that is sure to make you stand out while standing in line at the post office *wink*
