Hello, fabulouses, and welcome back to the blog!
I have something very important to tell y’all…I have a new man in my life. Yes, it’s true. I, Abby Hathorn, have found the man of my dreams…and I have never been so in love…it’s kind of scary.
Leo–the mystery guy–and I have been figuring things out over the past two years while seeing other people…we both have commitment issues. *wink* Recently, we saw each other in person for the very first time…and the moment our eyes met…the moment we touched…we knew that we were meant to be together…forever. We found love in a hopeless place *cue Rihana*…we found love on the internet….and he had me at Das Auto.
Das Auto? Wait…what? Isn’t that Volkswagen’s slogan meaning “The Car“…short for their “Aus Liebe Zum Automobil–For the Love of the Automobile” slogan? Yes–yes it is…and…now, I must admit that Leo is not my boyfriend…he’s not even a person. Leo is my new car–and I am still single–that’s good news for the single fellas *wink*
Dear readers, I want to introduce y’all to Leo…and I must tell y’all what makes him so special. Leo is a 2013 Beetle Fender edition–he has a killer Fender stereo system and speakers, all black interior with a dashing wood grain dashboard, a sweet sunroof, and vintage-style hubcaps. Ahh…Leo, you are so dreamy *wink*

Now, I am sure y’all are all wondering why in the world I named my car Leo. Well, I named my car after the founder of Fender Electric Manufacturing Company, Clarence Leonidas Fender, aka Leo Fender. I thought Leo was a fitting name for my car because it has such a slick, vintage vibe to it. Plus, Leo Fender was an adorable, little old man, and I am a sucker for adorable, little old men *wink* Not in a creepy way–I promise. I mostly like the stories they tell. Awh, man…Now, I miss my Paw Riley. Well, Le0–it looks like we are going to be taking our first road trip together. Off to Paw Riley’s house we go! *wink*
