Three Ways to Wear and Style: A Black Dress for Prom

IMG_8501

Hello, fabulouses, and welcome back to the blog!

*Confession time* I never went to prom. *gasp* WHAT?! What do you mean you never went to prom? Well, guys–I never got asked, and I did not have a great friend like Duckie in Pretty In Pink to meet me there sans planning *wink* So, hosting the #BelkScene Prom and Special Occasion event at the Belk Riverchase Galleria in Birmingham, Alabama was like getting ready for the prom I never had! With a better dress, snacks, and DJ, of course! *wink*

Note: Even though I never attended prom, I helped friends with styling their prom ensembles. And no–I have not had any side effects from skipping the prom *cue Pretty In Pink scene*

Now, for this week’s fabulous TWTWT, I am going to show y’all how simply changing accessories and shoes can take a basic prom or special occasion dress from event to event without the dash and cash of finding multiple ensembles. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at how I would have dressed at the multiple proms I never attended *wink* Hit “If You Leave”, DJ!
