Oh, my flare jeans! Never have I ever loved a pair of jeans quite like I love these modern-hippie, black flare jeans from GAP! The GAP at the Mall of Johnson City is closing *super sad face*, and everything in the store is on sale for killer prices *happy dance* So, my mom and I went on a shopping spree where I got not only these fabulous jeans, but also a ton of other goodies–but before I spill the beans…y’all will just have to come back and see all the outfits I can style with my new apparel!

At first, I was skeptical about pairing black with tan/brown–because black and brown makes me frown *wink*–but after trying it on and looking in the mirror, I fell head-over-heels for this ensemble. It makes me have Saturday Night Fever *cue young John Travolta*

Weekly Whistle: Sweater Weather Love

Hello, fabulouses, and welcome back to the blog!

WOOOO!!! It’s Wednesday which means the week is halfway over, and, of course, it means it’s Weekly Whistle time *wink*

It is definitely sweater-weather time, and I am definitely excited about breaking out my big, chunky sweaters again! Living in a colder climate than I grew up in, I am learning how to layer and actually make sweaters cute. Up until my moving to Northeast Tennessee, I don’t think I owned more than one sweater, and it was probably an ugly Christmas sweater from the sixth grade *wink* NOW…I have drawers and drawers of sweaters of all kinds that I am just dying to wear! *happy dance*

Okay–okay! That is enough about my newfound sweater obsession. Let’s take a look at this week’s VIP Weekly Whistle and get in the #SweaterWeather mood!

Phew! Today has been a very full day, and I only managed to get lost once in my scatter-brained state of getting to meetings quickly! I interviewed an absolutely inspiring woman today, and I cannot wait to share it with y’all soon! Ah–stay tuned :)

I love this skirt more than words can express, and to be honest…I have been a bit surprised with how versatile it is–so surprised that I thought it would make for a fabulous Three Ways to Wear *wink*

It is Wednesday, and y’all know what that means…IT IS TIME TO SEE THE VIP’S OUTFIT OF THE WEEK! Yay!

For this week’s VIP Weekly Whistle, I am turning it black (like the Rolling Stones told me to do) and floral because it is one of my favorite patterns *wink*

To top off this rockin’ ensemble, I slipped on an awesome handmade necklace from BluKatDesign. Every time I look at this necklace, I think about The Black Keys’s newest album “Turn Blue”…perhaps my love of rock n’ roll is getting out of hand *wink*

I hate to be the bearer of bad news…but this is the last outfit of the VIP Gap Top Challenge *sad face* Now–before you ruin your mascara, I have some FABULOUS NEWS!
