To say life has been busy and filled with (good) stress lately is a huge understatement. In a short period of time, I got engaged, bought a home, and immediately jumped into revamping it.
As I step into a new phase of life with my fiance Skyler, I am looking forward to sharing updates of all of our adventures with all of you! I will continue blogging about all things fashion and vintage, but I will also be adding posts about easy home projects, decor ideas, landscaping, and more! But before I kick start new content, I want to give you all a little life update + share some sweet pictures from the last few months!
Sometimes, it is fun to dress head-to-toe in matchy-matchy outfits; however, I often like to think outside the box. From mixing leopard with flamingo to mixing navy/white with bright mint and lime green–there is just something extremely satisfying about adding a little bit of funk to the everyday work-flow outfit! I get a little bit of adrenaline rush, ya know? *wink* Okay–so maybe, fashion is my addiction, and I have no shame–ZERO SHAME *wink*
For this week’s Weekly Whistle, I styled this funky work-flow ensemble that is not only great for the office and running errands, but it is also great for catching a bite to eat after the work is done–no changing, no extra accessories, no worries *hands in air* So, without further ado, let’s take a look at this week’s absolutely smashing outfit of the week ♥
Even though I am not beaching-it-up on the Carolina coast or Gulf Shores like a lot of my friends, that doesn’t mean I cannot channel my inner boho beach babe with this week’s Weekly Whistle!
Since I can’t make it to the beach, I am embracing some true beach vibes with coral and turquoise! So, join me as I daydream about sitting in the sand while listening to Kenny Chesney with this week’s Miami-inspired outfit of the week♥

Hello, fabulouses, and welcome back to Beauty Tues.
This week on Beauty Tues, I want to show y’all around my hair stylist, Courtney Bennet’s new salon–Salon Confidence. Courtney recently started a new chapter of her life by opening up her own salon in Jonesborough, Tennessee, and to be honest…I could not be more proud of her! She is taking her amazing cosmetology skills and combining them with her strong morals and family values to create a salon experience not for the vain–but for the confident! “I don’t do what I do for the money,” Courtney explained. “I do what I do to make women feel better about themselves–to make them feel confident!”
Now, without further ado, take a look at the grand opening of Salon Confidence!
My mother, Chasidy Hathorn, created several art pieces for Salon Confidence. This particular piece is a Lolly Molly original.
This is the other art piece that my mother created for Salon Confidence called “Blooming Confidence”. This is also a Lolly Molly original.
Pedicure? Yes, please!
Love the quote that adorns the wall at Courtney’s salon! This lovely quote can be seen as soon as you walk through the door!
A little sparkly glam. Yes, please!
Entering to win a free mani/pedi!
Of course, I opted for blue nail polish *wink*

Woo hoo! It is finally Wednesday, which means it is time for me to share with y’all this week’s Weekly Whistle outfit!
This fabulous frock is from Shellz in downtown Jonesborough, and it is so..soo..SO cute ‘n comfy! *wink* I chose this dress to be the outfit of the week because of the colors, fun floral pattern, and cute lace detail at the hem–this dress is so fabulous I am (almost) speechless *wink*
Now, to show y’all just how AH-mazing this dress is, I decided to make this week’s Weekly Whistle double special with a day-to-night look. By simply changing out accessories–and NOTHING else *wink*–I was able to transform this floral frock from a day on the town to a night on the town effortlessly.
So, without further ado, take a look at the outfits below, and be sure to give Shellz a “Like” on Facebook here!
