With the weather being almost-seventies today, I have been craving spring and fresh chicken salad *wink* Ah…there is nothing like a homemade chicken salad sandwich on a sunny spring afternoon…
Chicken salad aside, the weather got me to thinking about transitioning my wardrobe during this awkward time between seasons. Just to put it into perspective, I was in shorts and a t-shirt today–and tomorrow, I will be dressing for “90% chance of wintry mix and snow”–My goodness, Mother Nature! All I want is some warmth and sunshine–please, no more snow!
Okay–okay–I am not a weather blogger, so let me get back to the topic at hand here–freshening up with transitional wear.
For this week’s VIP Weekly Whistle, I am going to show y’all how I styled a sweet dress from South Boutique in Trussville, Alabama for chilly days and also for warmer days. Let’s take a look at the details, shall we!
Hello, fabulouses! To change up yesterday’s LGD outfit for a cute coffee meeting, swap the leather jacket for a neutral-toned cardigan and a sassy pair of boots–BAM! You are ready for Starbucks in style!
Hello, fabulouses! This week’s Weekly Whistle is all about a Little Green Dress–LGD. After going through my closet several weeks ago (see blog post here), I stumbled upon this Three07 LGD mixed in with my other dresses–I had forgotten all about it! How could I ever do such a thing?!
With the crazy fall weather we have here in the South, it is important to have staple pieces that can be cozied up or cooled down depending on the daily forecast. Because of its versatility, I have labeled this LGB as one of my fall staple pieces, and over the next few days I am going to show y’all how to take this dress from 70 degrees to 40 degrees with ease!
Grab your backpack and your school assignments for the day because an outfit this superb deserves a little day-cation. With the gorgeous green sweater being accented with the white statement necklace, how could you not show off this sweet and casual ensemble!
Why I love it: This Lucky 13 look is comfy, yet a bit dressy. It is perfect for class, lunch with friends, or a quick day-cation!
Hello, my fabulouses, guess what day it is? Fashionistas, what day is it? Oh, come on! I know you can hear me! Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, what day is it Mike? hahahahahah Leslie, guess what day it is! “It’s hump day.” WHOOP WHOOP! …
