Hello, fabulouses, and welcome back to the blog!

My goodness! I am so happy to be back home in Birmingham with my Charter high-speed internet and a Starbucks that is 2.1 miles from my house; however, spending time in my hometown was nice–spending time with old friends and family, revisiting some of my favorite photo shoot spots, and taking walks in the pasture listening to the calm silence that exists in the middle of nowhere…

Now, enjoy some photos from our adventure! Please note that my mom is quite possibly the worst iPhone photographer ever *wink*

After two days of being in Louisville, we were finally given the “clear” to head back to Birmingham. Roads were still a bit icy in patches, but God blessed us so greatly because we could have been stranded on the side of the road rather than stranded in the hometown :)

On today’s Grand Haul outfit, I took the sweatshirt from yesterday’s look and paired it with a frilly lace skirt from Aeropostale and a traditional pair of cowboy boots for a super cute style that is fabulous for Friday night bonfire parties! Mmm…now I am in the mood for sitting around a bonfire with a nice cup of hot chocolate!

Something About the VIP:

I admit…my favorite fast food restaurant is Jack’s.  I am a sucker for a Blue Bell orange sherbet ice cream cone and a fried chicken sandwich–plain–no mayo. no tomato. no lettuce.  Yes…I probably should have said my favorite thing to eat is salad…but that would be a flat out lie.  Can my choice of fast food be justified by the fact I order it without mayo, lettuce, and tomato?

Yes, I know, try to contain your excitement…because this week’s weekly whistle is about every lady’s favorite accessory-PEARLS. Being a Southern Belle, pearls are a total must have for any and all occasions! “Southern Charm Tip #9:  Every Southern Girl Should Have Pearls Galore.  You can’t go wrong with a classic single strand of pearls, but lately we’re fans of the statement pearl Necklace,” states Southern Living.

During this photo shoot, Ziva decided she wanted to be on my blog too…so precious…and she managed to be more adorable than she usually is…I guess all of the selfies and Instagram pictures have finally gone to her furry head! Have I raised a glamorous diva dog? Yes, yes I have…Oh, Ziva the Diva!
