Weekly Whistle: Focused on Pattern and Color

IMG_3115

Sometimes, it can be a bit challenging to dress youthful and cute yet professional and fashionable for the workplace. Often, it seems like we have to choose a side–youth or professionalism; however, that is not the case with this week’s fabulous Weekly Whistle!

For this look, I combined a summer-y Chip & Pepper shoulder cut-out blouse with one of my favorite bright skirts + added a pair of handmade earrings from BluKatDesign. While this look is perfect for any time, it can easily be dressed up for a stricter workplace dress code by tossing on a black or blue cropped blazer or suitable cardigan.

VIP TIP:

Keep in mind, bright and patterned wardrobe pieces add a level of high-fashion and fun to even the simplest of work-place looks. For example, if you work somewhere that requires black/khaki suit skirts and blazers, you can add pops of color with your blouse, shoes or jewelry to create a lovely yet functional ensemble that can take you from the office to dinner in a snap!

Now, without further ado, let’s get focused on pattern and color and check out this week’s Weekly Whistle!
