J.Crew Challenge: Outfit 10, These Boots Were Made For…the Farmer’s Market?

Hello, fabulouses, and welcome back to the J.Crew Challenge!

The other day, I took a little adventure to the Johnson City Farmer’s Market where I picked up a super cute, handmade basket and Indian corn–which are featured on this blog post. The weather was so lovely, and so were the vendors! Seeing all of the adorable old men selling watermelons and corn out of the back of their weathered pick-up trucks reminds me of the times when Paw Riley and I used to do that…*sniff, sniff* I need an emergency trip back to The Hospitality State to see my Paw *sad face*

J.Crew Challenge: Outfit 8, The Girl in the Purple Rain Boots

Hello, fabulouses, and welcome back to the J.Crew Challenge!

I would like to start out by saying THANK YOU for y’all’s fan mail about my purple Hunter boots! I love them so much, and I’m quite surprised how they easily pair with SO MANY pieces! So, if you have been debating purchasing a bright pair of wellies, debate no more! Take the leap, and enjoy adding some cheer to dreary, rainy days :)

For this J.Crew Outfit, I took yesterday’s shorts and paired them with the basic navy tee from Outfit 1, tossed on a Target scarf, slipped on my Hunters, and grabbed my umbrella. TAH DAH an easy yet super fabulous outfit perfect for jumping in puddles *wink*

J.Crew Challenge: Outfit 7, Simple Perfection

Hello, fabulouses, and welcome back to the J.Crew Challenge!

Phew–I am taking a break from studying for my Biology, via Quizlet, to post this super fabulous J.Crew outfit. Whoo hoo! It is a much needed fashion break…and I also think I am due a coffee break *wink*

Why I love this look: I love it because it is so simple yet so perfect! The easy-going style of the v-neck tee combined with the vintage-inspired shorts gives off a fabulous vibe without going too over the top. The accessories and shoes also make this outfit–the handmade and vintage jewelry + patterned flats add a much needed pop of personality.

Where I wore it: I recently sported this sweet outfit to the First Friday event in downtown Johnson City, and it was so comfy for walking the streets in style. :) To dress this look up for the movies, I could easily toss on my blue Kork-Ease wedges and go!

Happy (unofficial) fall, y’all! We still may have two weeks before the first day of Autumn; however, I cannot help but celebrate it now! There are pumpkins on the porch, the PSL is out at Starbucks, the leaves are beginning to change, and NYFW is happening as we speak. Ah…Fall, how I have missed you *wink*

After a two year expansion and remodel project, the Riverchase Galleria (Birmingham, Alabama) has upgraded to Belk flagship status and all of us fashionistas are celebrating! The festive ribbon-cutting event is October 15, 2014 at 9:30 a.m CST. The first 400 people will receive Belk Gift Cards worth $5-$500–what a great way to kick off fall fashion shopping, right? Belk will also be donating $65,000 to local charities in honor of its grand opening. The charities include the United Way, Birmingham Children’s Theatre, Red Mountain Theatre, Hoover City Schools, and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama.
