Hello, hello, hello fashionistas and lovers of hats! I welcome you to the Vintage Inspired Passionista blog for a fabulous post about the “An Affair of the Hat” event at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens on March 21, which featured elegant hats by Christine A. Moore Millinery NYC (with Gus Mayer, Birmingham).
“An Affair of the Hat” was filled with delectable food, precious centerpieces, and an extraordinary fashion hat show by Christine A. Moore! As the lovely models showcased these gorgeous wearable art pieces, I found myself nudging my mom saying “I want that one! That one is my new favorite! Ooo…look at that one!”
After a lovely lunch and superb fashion show, we all directed our attention to the room where Christine A. Moore hats were available for purchase. The VIP is a huge fan of the “Fascinator” hats (as I am wearing in the picture at the top of the blog) because there is so much attitude and spunk in that small piece of handmade art! I also fell head over heels for the “Andrea” hat. Oh, I am going to need a new closet STRICTLY FOR HATS!
Okay, okay, that is enough about me and my dream of having a hat closet-let us enjoy a few wonderful photographs from the event taken by my terrific photographer at Sweet Sorghum Living!
