WHOA! Happy Friday! It seems like this week has just breezed by–and I am not complaining *wink* So happy to ring in the weekend…and what better way to do that than with a fabulous Spring 2015 Fashion Preview with the ever-lovely Belk Vice President of Fashion Direction Arlene Goldstein! Come on–let’s take a look!
After visiting Belk Headquarters, I attended the media remote at Belk in South Park Mall in Charlotte, North Carolina, and it was so wonderful! I love getting to connect with new bloggers! Hm…and speaking of bloggers….The blogging world will soon be taking the town of Johnson City by storm thanks to yours truly and an awesome newspaper. Oops! I’ve already said too much…stay tuned for more information coming soon *wink* Let’s get back to the fashion, shall we?!
As always, Arlene gave us some wonderful advice + a look at some hot trends for the upcoming fashion season. Below are some of my favorites!
The above photos were some of Arlene’s picks for the “Garden Party” trend which is all about “dreamy pales and mid-tones…whites, florals and beautiful botanicals….Lace-like textiles, sheers, intricate appliques, embroideries, and crystal pleats. [Garden Party consists of] flower-motifs and amazing accessories like colorful stone treatments, pearl variations and statement earrings,” explained Goldstein.
Of course, I love the classy and feminine flare of the Garden Party trend, and I think these looks lend themselves to a bit of vintage-inspired vibe. I think my favorite thing to try out will be floral heels…the statement they possess is so crazy appealing! Oh, I cannot wait to get my Spring shoppin’ on *wink*

The VIP’s Favorites
1. Look At Me Lips–I think this one is pretty self-explanatory for the VIP *wink* Y’all know how much I love my statement lips…always have! :)
2. Statement Earrings–because sometimes it is nice to change things up from a statement neck *wink*
3. The Jumpsuit–knowing that the jumpsuit has “jumped” back on the trend board, I have a feeling I will be pulling out my vintage one for a photo shoot in the near future *wink*
