VIP Scrapbook: Celebrating 3 Years of VIP

header

Hello, fabulouses, and welcome back to the blog!

Today is very special to me because exactly three years ago today, I published the first post on Vintage Inspired Passionista. Little did sixteen-year-old-me know what she was getting herself into *wink* Little did sixteen-year-old-me know that she would start publishing blog posts five days a week…Little did sixteen-year-old-me know that she would get to meet and interview some of her icons (like Betsey Johnson and Rebecca Minkoff) and celebs (like Ty Pennington, Matt Muenster, Emily Ellyn, and so forth)…Little did sixteen-year-old-me know that she would fall in love with writing and blogging…Little did sixteen-year-old-me know that her blog would soon develop into something bigger and better than just an outlet.

Can you believe it, gluten-free cupcake, the VIP blog turns 3 today! *gasp* --Special thanks to Cakes in a Cup in Johnson City for these lovely, celiac-friendly cupcakes to help us at VIP HQ celebrate turning 3--

I am not going to lie. Juggling a successful blog, college, and a personal life is not the easiest thing in the world; however, that stress has taught me so much about myself. Managing and growing VIP has taught me not only how to love myself, but also how to love myself in a world that is so consumed with critics. Y’all, the VIP readers, have unknowingly helped me overcome the naysayers, and y’all have motivated me to keep fighting for my goals…my dreams….and not get Entangled by the Norm.

As of today, I have published 643 blog posts–this one will make #644. Wow–just wow. To think, without y’all and all of the overwhelmingly wonderful support…I would have never even made it to 100 posts…much less over 600! Again, special thank you to all of the VIP readers, supporters, and fans. Achieving another year of blogging would not have been possible without y’all.

I feel so blessed to be able to express myself in a way that is so widely accepted and enjoyed! God has given me many opportunities in the past three years, and I cannot wait to see what the next year holds for the VIP. Please continue to read, share, and support–we love our fan base here at VIP headquarters :)

Thanks again, everyone! It has been a super fabulous three years! *cheers*
